This position is located in Okmulgee, Oklahoma and the schedule is Monday-Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, with occasional overtime available. The salary range is?$16.19-$23.78 hourly.Our facility is located at 1204 West 20th Street Okmulgee, OK 74447.?   • Responsible for mixing, matching, and applying paint to various surfaces, completing touchups, and coordinating large painting projects.

Essential Functions / Responsibilities:

  • Must be able to follow all written and verbal work instruction, operations and procedures.

  • Have the ability to use a variety of pneumatic paint guns and electro-static paint guns.?

  • Must be capable of reading and understanding blueprints.

  • Support plant safety policies.

  • Be able to recognize cosmetics issues dealing with paint, as well as issues resulting from obvious irregularities, in form, fit and finish.

  • Must be flexible, and time consciences, in order to coordinate schedules that will meet customer deliveries.

  • Understand the variety of paints, their proper mix ratios, and dry times.

  • Must be able to properly manage inventories to ensure the proper amount of paint remains on hand.

  • Properly manage the waste streams in the paint area for both hazardous and non-hazardous products.

  • Must be able to work around a variety of chemicals including but not limited to paints, solvents, soaps, catalyst, etc.

  • Basic computer skills required for the completion of time cards and production information as necessary in a computerized production management system.

  • Must actively demonstrate good housekeeping practices in the work area as well as the entire facility.

  • Must have the ability, knowledge and confidence to consistently meet or exceed the expected productivity standards for all work performed.

  • Must be able to use material handling equipment (Raymond lifts, walkie stackers, low boys, etc.) to pull and position parts and materials necessary to perform your assigned tasks.

  • Must have the ability and desire to work effectively in a team, or group environment.

  • Must have completed required training prior to working in classification.

  • Train and coach employees in how to improve performance in all areas of painting.

  • High School Diploma or GED Recipient

Technical Skills:

Must be able to use the following equipment:

  • Paint thickness tester

  • Air flow meter

  • Gloss meter

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

PACCAR Winch is a manufacturer of industrial winches.? Employee is working around heavy machinery.? Employees must be able to operate safely in a busy industrial environment.? Additional physical requirements include standing, walking, bending 90% of the time.? Ability to squat, kneel on both knees, bend forward at the waist and hold hands above head.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
